Downward Facing Dog
Picture by Lauren L Poole |
If you go to any Yoga class we do this pose over and over again. When your a beginner it can feel repetitive and harsh on the shoulders and wrists. This pose has so many benefits as it is an inversion, reversing bodily fluids as well as strengthening and stretching so many parts of the body. This like any posture can take an hour to learn and a lifetime to perfect, once nearly perfect the advanced practice can be performed. Also when in a yoga workout class like mine, your constantly moving and resting here for a few breaths lets students catch their breath and bring their heart rate down. You don't have to stay in downward facing dog, you can go into a modification for a few breaths or even child's pose. Below i go into a lot of detail on this posture (taken from various sourced). I wright these to refresh my memory and learn new things from reading, if you find it interesting too then great, share it or let me know if there is anything to add:-)

Singapore Rooftop Herb Garden
The secret to successful growing of food is experimentation, love and organic fertilizer. I grow seeds in different areas of the house and garden, then plant them in different pots and place in different parts of the rooftop and water differently until it works. Also we make organic fertilizer using a worm compost.
Check out the latest updates and how to grow everything on my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5ZSF6PU7ExVi1DrNUs4U2hm9aEchAM2I
Please message me if you want cuttings plants or have questions. I have load to swap for a plant i dont have.

Detoxing three times a year
Detoxing not only clears out the toxins in your body which will stave off illnesses, makes you feel and look fantastic but also gives all your internal organs a time to recover from working so hard to clear out the toxins which you consume through food, skin and breath.
Detoxing also reminds you of you good eating habits, teaches you new cooking methods and helps you kick any bad habits you may have. I try to detox several times a year using the various types of detoxes listed below.
